Reverend Dr. Claude Ellis Forehand II

Reverend Dr. Claude Ellis Forehand II, Executive Director

Dr. Forehand was born in 1973 to Claude E. and Betty L. Forehand. The youngest of two sons, he is a native of Lakewood N.J. He completed his undergraduate studies in business administration and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1995 from Johnson C. Smith University, Charlotte N.C. Later, he furthered his education in the formal study of professional ministry and in 2002 received his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and in 2009 his Doctor of Ministry (D. Min.) both from Hood Theological Seminary Salisbury, NC. In addition to serving his country honorably for nine (9) years in the United States Marine Corps., Dr. Forehand is also, a Christian educator. It is his conviction that every Christian who attempts to practice their faith must be educated in their faith. This is why he continued his education and prides himself as a lifelong learner. Dr. Forehand has also provided ministry consulting-based services for churches and Baptist associations throughout the state of North Carolina. As a former 3rd Vice Moderator of his own association, the United Missionary Baptist Association UMBA, he served as the chair for the minister’s Ordination Council. Pastor Forehand writes Sunday school lessons for R.H. Boyd Publishing Co and has been a regular instructor for their National Baptist BTU and Sunday school Convention.

As an active member in his local NAACP chapter, Dr. Forehand is also a social activist and community organizer. And a proud member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity Inc., Phi Chi Chapter. In addition to his passion for ministry and a commitment to serve his love for his wife, Rolanda Forehand, is another motivator for the sacred work he has and continues to do.
